Following the extension and refurbishment of the Practice, we submitted an application to NHS Gloucestershire to expand the boundary of the Practice. As part of this application, we consulted with neighbouring GP Practices and invited existing patients to submit any concerns about the planned expansion.
We are pleased to announce that the application has now been approved.
The Practice is boundary is the area within which patients must reside in order to be able to register with the Practice.
The below image shows the new Practice boundary. The majority of the expansion is to the south of Quedgeley and will support a number of new housing developments in that more rural part of Gloucestershire.
The expansion will allow us to increase patient numbers, which will in turn allow us to invest in growing our team and increasing service delivery.
Our priority is to maintain a high level of service to our existing patients and to ensure that the growth of the Practice does not negatively impact the experience of patients.
