The contractual changes imposed by the Government prevent us from delivering the cradle-to-grave holistic preventative care that has defined UK general practice since 1948. Instead, it means daily firefighting on a shrinking share of the NHS budget.
Like most other practices, we are facing unlimited demand that outstrips the available workforce capacity, preventing us from the delivering care in the way that we know many of our patients want and expect.
We have been placed in a position where delivering impossible imposed contract changes is unreasonable and unsafe.
