A shared frustration
We recognise that your health is one of the most important things to you and your family, and that medical reassurance and advice goes a long way to helping ease the worry.
We also recognise that getting an appointment or being able to speak to a GP directly is becoming harder – trust us, we’re all patients of a GP too and we experience the same challenges.
We are doing everything we can to find the most practical ways to manage the demand on our services with the limited capacity that we have, whilst ensuring that patients feel heard and respected. This is not easy and changes to the GP Contract this year have made it even more difficult.
We’ve created a page on our website that explains how we work and what we do behind the scenes that you might not see, but that it might be comforting for you to know about.

Zero tolerance
We have noticed that, as our service becomes more and more stretched, there have been more and more incidents of patients being verbally aggressive towards our employees. Whilst we can understand your frustration, we do not accept this form of abuse. In order to protect our employees, we are implementing our zero tolerance policy even more robustly.
