Walking Group

🗓️ Mondays | 🕗 5.30pm to 6.30pm | 📍 Starting from Quedgeley Medical Centre

From Monday 11th May 2026, we will be starting a weekly walking group for patients looking to start exercising gently, and for patients looking to socialise and meet new people.

The walks will be led by Leia, a Social Prescribing Link Worker with a special interest in fitness and mental health.

The first walk will start at 5.30pm on Monday 11th May 2026 with subsequent ones being held weekly thereafter (excluding bank holidays).

The walks will initially last for around 30 minutes, building up to a maximum of 1 hour over a number of weeks.

Participants will meet in the Practice waiting room, with the walks starting from and ending up back at the Practice car park.

How to sign up

You are welcome to join any of our Walking Group sessions, but we do ask that you complete this short form before attending your first session.

This will help us to ensure we have the necessary details needed in case of an emergency and reduce the amount of admin we need to do at the start of each session.
