Mental health support at QMC
We employ a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) within our Practice to support adult and older adult patients with severe mental illnesses to live well in their community.
The MHP supports patients with complex mental health needs and acts as a ‘bridge’ between our primary care services here at the Practice and specialist mental health services in hospital and community settings.
Accessing our mental health support
If you would like support with your mental health, please call the Practice on 01452 728882 and our team of trained Receptionists will help to navigate and signpost you to the most appropriate person.
It is important to note that primary care is NOT an urgent or emergency service. If you or someone you care for is in acute crisis, please refer to this guidance: www.ghc.nhs.uk/crisis/
