We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.
Antenatal care
Antenatal clinics are run twice a week by the midwife, so that every pregnant woman is seen regularly.

Baby checks
Routine baby checks on growth and development are offered by the practice and the children are seen regularly by the doctor and health visitor.
Childhood immunisations
We offer all the usual childhood vaccinations. If you have any queries regarding immunisation please do not hesitate to ask.
Family planning services
We offer all forms of family planning including the pill, coil fitting, injections and implants. Also counselling and referral are made for female sterilisation or vasectomy.
Cervical smear tests
These are performed by the practice nurse. You will be able to have a routine check done at the same time and also you can discuss any health concerns with the nurse.
Long term conditions clinics
Including asthma and mental health.
Diabetes
All the diabetic patients will require an annual check with the nurse. This will take 30 minutes and please ask for an annual check with the nurse when you book the appointment. When you come for this appointment please do not have breakfast, tea or coffee in the morning and also bring a sample of urine.
In addition we recommend you to have six monthly blood tests and in some situation more often depending on the sugar control.
Once a year you will have an eye check and photograph of your eye taken. You will be contacted few weeks before this is due.
Health promotion
Well woman check, well man check, heart disease prevention counselling and menopause counselling are available.
We are also inviting patients aged between 40-75 without any significant cardiovascular problems for a vascular health check and please wait for your invitation from the practice.
Travel clinic
For more information on travel vaccinations, please complete a travel risk assessment.
If you are travelling abroad, please make sure you submit this form 8 weeks before your travel date to arrange any vaccinations that may be necessary.
The nurse will assess based on your form and give further advise.
Dental problems
Please do not book to see the GP if you have any tooth related problems. We will not be able to deal with this and you will be asked to contact a dentist.
