This alcohol support information sheet has been developed by NHS Gloucestershire to give clinicians and patients a clear, accessible overview of the full support options available across Gloucestershire for people struggling with alcohol use.
Support options available include both traditional and non-traditional services, recognising that many community organisations play a role in supporting people with alcohol-related needs.
The model features a central circle that sets out different stages of an individual’s journey with alcohol (e.g. those seeking information, those wanting to cut down, those experiencing dependency, families needing support, etc.). Each stage links to the relevant support services available locally.
